Chiefly unidentified snapshots and portrait photographs of San Francisco Bay Area African American lawyer Leland Stanford Hawkins and his wife Gladys. Also depicted are friends and other family members. Includes a snapshot of boxer Joe Louis, and various greeting cards. Two holiday cards (with family portraits) from Calif. State Assemblyman W. Byron Rumford are present. Also includes one exterior view of the Pilgrim Baptist Church at 33 No. Grant (possibly in San Mateo, Calif?).
